The
Main EMIS Menu Screen
The main menu options can be seen in the central area of the screen. Although there are 23 of these in total there are only three that you need to be aware of at present:
CM opens Consultation Mode.
MR opens Medical Record.
PR opens Prescribing
These 3 functions will be described in detail in subsequent sections.
The details of the patient who is currently selected are displayed at the top of the screen. This shows their system number, name and address, age and the initials of the GP with whom they are registered.
Moving your mouse to this icon at the top left of the screen will display further patient details, including NHS number, phone number and date of birth, when available:
