Although EMIS is not a Windows programme it runs within a Windows environment. You can move out of EMIS into any other Windows programme at any time by minimizing it, by clicking on another program icon on the task bar or by clicking on the start button on your keyboard.
In the upper part of the screen are the familiar windows menu headings such as File, Edit, View and so on. It is not necessary to use these at this stage. Below these are icons for Copy and Paste functions, which will be used very occasionally.
